Two dead, three wounded in shooting at Pittsburgh mosque


Two people have been killed and three others wounded in a shooting at a mosque in Pittsburgh.

It happened at the Islamic Center of Pittsburgh on the edge of the city’s downtown.

The shooting occurred about 1 p.m.

Monday at the mosque in the 2400 block of E. Broad St. The shooter is still at large.

The mosque was built in the 1970s and has been the target of several shootings.

Police have not yet identified the shooter or any other suspects.
